As we approach an important election, what is our personal priority? Is it who is on the ballot? Is it which party do I choose? Is it the future of our country?

I am praying. I hope you are as well. I want God’s Will for our country, and for His chosen leaders to lead our nation.

I am a praying grandmother, and pray for my grandchildren daily. I also want to pray for the country that my grandchildren are growing up in. I am concerned about their safety as well as their protection. I pray for their health. I pray for each child to be able to live out his/her Christian values as they grow into adulthood.

I do believe our Founding Fathers prayed many prayers before they drafted the Declaration of Independence and other special documents to set our United States of America on its path in the right direction. We are “One Nation Under God.” God has shown his favor to our country; let us not take it for granted. As Christian believers let us humbly ask Him for guidance. Let us ask for His Direction as we go forward as a nation.
