Thanksgiving is very special to me!
My first child was born on Thanksgiving morning! Her due date was December actually.
I had had a dream very early in my pregnancy that I had a baby on Thanksgiving Day, but then my obstetrician gave me a due date for the second week of December & I forgot about the dream ….until …the day before Thanksgiving when my “nesting urge” kicked in full swing and I decided to give my oven a thorough cleaning.
I went to bed exhausted, but awoke a few hours early Thanksgiving morning with contractions.
She was born just before noon that blessed Thanksgiving morning!
Since then, every Thanksgiving I am so very thankful for the arrival of my precious daughter. She is now a young mother of two herself and I’m very proud of her.
So, Thanksgivings are very special to me and always will be!
